Two exceptional Venetian Baroque single beds from the 1920s, crafted in hand-carved walnut with burl walnut fillet inlay by Testolini-Salviati. Recently polished with wax, these elegant beds measure H 132/84 cm, W 93 cm, D 205 cm, with internal dimensions of 190 x 80 cm. Documented by OADI (Observatory for the Decorative Arts in Italy, December 2016, No. 14), they embody the distinguished craftsmanship of the Testolini brothers, who established their Venetian workshop in 1847 and rose to prominence during one of the city’s most dynamic cultural and industrial periods.
